Milk Jam / Caramel Spread - Bonne Maman

Milk Jam / Caramel Spread - Bonne Maman
Bonne Maman Caramel Spread. "Confiture de Lait"
"Confiture de Lait", literally "Milk Jam" in French, can be translated by "Caramel Spread". Confiture de Lait is a specialty of Normandy, made from boiling whole milk and sugar for hours until it gets a light brown color and a delicate caramel flavor. This French Milk Jam is not as sweet as regular caramel, and brings a milky twist to it. It is also easier to spread thanks to its creamy texture. Use it simply as a topping over ice cream, sandwich cookies, spread it on crepes or buns - or just eat it with a spoon right out of the fridge!
Bonne Maman is one of the most famous French gourmet preserve company in France. Their jams are made from traditional recipes featuring high quality and all natural ingredients.
