Vintage Altrohlau Czechoslovakia Pansies Porcelain Candy Dish
This exquisite piece of antique porcelain dates back to the 1920s and possibly earlier. The Altrohlau factory, known for its high-quality ceramics, produced this charming small oval candy dish featuring delicate hand-painted pansies against an iridescent white background. A silver trim adorns the edges and a silver glazed handle makes for easy use.
It is signed at the back in green glaze "MZ Altrohlau CM-R Czechoslovakia" with the number 909 imprinted in the porcelain. This green mark was used from 1909 to 1922. It has an additional signature in black glaze: "Jorgensen" for the artist who did the hand painted decor. It is in very good vintage condition.
This beautiful piece can be used as a decorative item in your home. It's perfect for displaying candies, nuts, or other small treats during special occasions or everyday use.
This unique piece is suitable for collectors of vintage porcelain, enthusiasts of Czechoslovakian ceramics, and anyone looking to add a touch of history and elegance to their home decor.
